BBC Buzz is a new entertainment TV show celebrating the best of everyday life in Bangladesh, introducing a whole new way to learn English. It is broadcast each Friday on ATN Bangla at 9:20 p.m. (Bangladesh Time), starting from 23 October 2009. The show, featuring two young and dynamic television presenters, is about extraordinary, unusual and surprising people. It features the many stories of success from every corner of Bangladesh – all told from a different perspective. It’s a show about the aspirations, achievements and ambitions of young people across Bangladesh. The show broadcasts features on everything from, celebrities to sports, rock music to relationships, politics to popular culture and careers to climate change. Each week, a viewer can expect:

• a guest celebrity, who’ll tell us about their favourite part of the country;
• a leading professional - such as a lawyer, pilot, architect or photojournalist – who’ll give us a unique insight into their jobs by letting us hang out with them all day;
• a debate on a hot topic, where the viewers will be asked to have their say and get involved with the issues that really matter to them.
