EIA will produce a wide range of materials supporting both the professional development of teachers as well as the learning process in the classroom.  The Project will also build the capacity of teachers to use the new materials. The materials will be both digital and print based which will include printed supplementary teaching and learning materials, e-books, and audio-video materials. The materials will link to an interactive audio Primary Teaching and Learning Programme (PTLP), and centre on ICT based teachers training for a Secondary Teaching and Learning Programme (STLP).

EIA is developing PTLP materials by exploring the expertise and experiences of Bangladeshi curriculum developers and script writers. A group of external curriculum developers and script writers are working with the PTLP as freelancers with the guidance of EIA staff. The Open University UK is working as reviewer and editor of the PTLP materials. The Open University-UK is working to develop both PTLP and STLP materials in collaboration with EIA base staff. BBC Learning English is developing the teaching and learning materials for the adult learning interventions.
